Dinner out, for Las Vegas locals
Black Connect Las Vegas is a restaurant directory for Las Vegas only. It is built for Black residents and allies who want to eat Black-owned on an ordinary night out, a weekend brunch or a birthday dinner, and who today ask a friend or a Facebook group.
One place now holds the answer: every Black-owned restaurant, plus the spots serving Black food traditions, whoever owns them.

Labelled honestly, so you always know which is which
Every listing carries one of two labels. Black-owned means a Black owner runs the kitchen. A cuisine label means the kitchen serves a Black food tradition, whoever owns it, and says exactly that.
- Soul food
- Caribbean
- African
- Creole

Black-owned, said plainly
Every Black-owned restaurant in Las Vegas belongs on the list. Whatever it serves, if a Black owner runs the kitchen, it is there and it says so.
No guessing from a name over the door, and no waiting for someone in a group chat to remember.

Black food, whoever owns it
Soul food, Caribbean, African, Creole and more. Where a kitchen serves a Black food tradition, it is listed too, whoever owns it.
Those listings are labelled by cuisine instead of as Black-owned, so a diner always knows which is which.

Kept current by locals
Las Vegas locals keep the list current, for Las Vegas locals. Menus change and doors change, and the people who live here are the first to notice.
It is one directory for one city, so it can stay small enough to be right.
One list for every kind of night

An ordinary night out
Most dinners are not an occasion. They are a Thursday and a hungry group chat.
Open the list, read the label, pick a kitchen, and send one message instead of twenty.

Weekend brunch
Late Saturday morning, somebody always asks where to go. The list already has the answer: Black-owned kitchens and Black food traditions, side by side.
Each one is labelled, so you know what you are walking into before you leave the house.

The birthday dinner
A birthday should be spent somewhere that means something. Choose a Black-owned kitchen, or one serving soul food, Caribbean, African or Creole cooking.
Then tell everyone where to meet.
Free for diners, always
The directory costs diners nothing, and it always will. Every restaurant can be listed for free too.
A restaurant that wants to be a Featured restaurant pays $29 a month.
